1、 Roadbed maintenance should be carried out through daily inspections and regular checks of various parts of the highway, identifying the causes of diseases in a timely manner, taking effective measures for repair or reinforcement, and eliminating the root causes of diseases. The scope of work should include the following:

1. Repair and reinforce road shoulders and slopes.

2. Dredging and improving drainage facilities.

3. Maintain and repair various protective structures.

4. Clear the collapsed area and snow, handle the collapse, inspect the danger, and prevent water damage.

5. Observe, prevent, and handle diseases such as mudslides, landslides, and debris flows.

6. Planned and targeted widening and raising of local roadbeds to improve sharp bends, steep slopes, and poor visibility sections, gradually meeting the required technical standards.

2、 The roadbed maintenance work should meet the following basic requirements:

1. The various parts of the roadbed are often kept intact, and the dimensions of each part meet the specified standard requirements, without damage or deformation, and are often in good condition.

2. The shoulder of the road is free of ruts, potholes, bumps, subsidence, and gaps, with moderate cross slope and smooth edges. The surface is flat, solid, and tidy, and the connection with the road surface is smooth.

3. The slope is stable, sturdy, smooth without gullies or looseness, and the gradient meets the regulations.

4. The drainage facilities such as side ditches, drainage ditches, intercepting ditches, drop wells, and drainage troughs (shoulder water dustpans) are free of blockages and high grass, and the longitudinal slope meets the requirements. The water flow in the thermal power plant is smooth, and the inlet and outlet are well maintained to ensure that there is no water accumulation in the roadbed, road surface, and side ditches.

5. The retaining walls, slope protection, snow and sand prevention facilities are kept intact and undamaged, and the drainage holes are not blocked.

6. Take measures to prevent, control, and repair diseases such as mudslides, landslides, and debris flows, and try to shorten the time of obstruction.
